HEAT TREATMENT
Annealed at 780–850 °C and air cooled; stabilize at 600–800 °C to avoid 475 °C embrittlement; not hardenable by heat treatment.

PROCESSING PRECAUTIONS
Avoid welding in the 475 °C embrittlement and sigma-phase ranges; use matched filler and minimize heat input. Good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking.
