Reflections on Arbor Day
Every year March 12 is the nationally mandated Arbor Day. It naturally calls to mind the coming of spring in nature — all things reviving, everything renewed. A new year begins with spring, opening another cycle of the four seasons.
In the first month of spring, virtue resides in trees. With our hands as the plow and our hearts as the soil, we gently place a seed — settling it into the earth's warm palm, and into the long expectations of time. Life resembles the four seasons, like a sapling: it takes ten years to grow a tree, a hundred to nurture a person. Arbor Day is a pact with nature, a meeting with time, a dialogue with our original aspiration.
May we all be tree-planters within time — keeping a calm heart, holding a love, taking root in the world, growing through wind and rain. What we plant is never a thin sapling alone, but reverence for nature, passion for life, and watchfulness over the future. All things in the world have their own rhythm of growth. May every seed break through the soil; every sapling grow lush; every expectation find its reward.
Sprouting in spring, flourishing in summer, settling in autumn, hibernating in winter — stand firm through wind and rain, accumulate strength through time. Through wind and storm, in the end become timber. At the start of the Year of the Horse, the whole year's plan lies in spring. May we be like fine seeds in spring, not betraying our prime, taking root and growing through struggle, and in the end living up to expectations, becoming pillars of the special-steel sales field! This new year, ride together and brave the blue ocean, achieving ourselves.
Let us carry beauty in our hearts and set out toward spring!
