Precautions
Austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, formability and weldability; non-magnetic in annealed condition. High nickel (≈10%) stabilises the austenite and improves toughness and pitting resistance. Used in food processing, chemical plant, architecture, heat exchangers, kitchenware and medical devices.
