Uses
Nickel alloy with superb corrosion and high-temperature performance. Used in chemical processing, marine, heat-treat equipment and electronics.
Heat Treatment
Solution treated 1000–1200 °C and aged per alloy; many are used in the mill-annealed condition for corrosion service.
Precautions
Use matched filler and clean joint preparation; sulfur can cause hot cracking — avoid contact with lead/low-melting contaminants.
